The Jacquelyn D. White Helping Hands Foundation was born from a profound legacy of compassion. Jacquelyn D. White, a beloved resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey, devoted her life to serving others. Her tireless efforts touched countless lives through community organizations, churches, hospitals and nursing homes. She was, quite simply, a beacon of hope.
After her passing, her daughter, Antoinette Bowers, courageously stepped forward to continue her mother's mission. Under Antoinette's inspiring leadership, the foundation has blossomed, expanding its reach to collaborate with daycare facilities, families and various organizations. We've introduced vital initiatives like scholarship opportunities, gift card drives and heartwarming holiday toy drives.
Today, we proudly carry forward Evangelist White's vision: fostering a healthier, more compassionate community, one act of kindness at a time. It's a journey fueled by love, dedication and the belief that together, we can make an extraordinary difference.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, every shared story creates a ripple of positive change in Central New Jersey.

"The foundation's food assistance has been a true blessing. I no longer worry about where my next meal will come from. Their kindness has brightened my golden years."

"Thanks to the scholarship, I'm pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher. The foundation believed in me when I needed it most. I'm forever grateful."

"The household items and clothing drives have made such a difference for my family. It's truly a helping hand that understands our struggles."
Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports our programs providing food, clothing, education and financial aid to those who need it most in Central New Jersey. Join our mission to build a healthier, more supportive community.

"In the heart of our community, we find stories of resilience and hope that inspire us to do more. Just last week, I met a mother who, despite facing numerous challenges, never wavered in her commitment to providing for her children. As she spoke, her eyes glistened with determination and love, reminding me of why our work is so vital. It’s moments like these that fuel our passion and remind us that every small act of kindness can create ripples of change."
"I invite you to join us on this journey of compassion and service. Share your stories, volunteer your time, or simply spread the word about our upcoming events. Every contribution matters, no matter how small. Together, we can continue the legacy of love and support that Jacquelyn D. White embodied, ensuring that no one in our community feels alone in their struggles. After all, when we reach out a helping hand, we create a brighter future for all."
